Import a video
Tap the plus button and choose videos from Files. You can also copy files into nooPlayer using Finder or open compatible files from another app.
Import a folder
Choose a folder from the system picker to keep its nested organization. Availability depends on what each Files provider exposes to iOS.
Resume playback
nooPlayer saves progress automatically. Select the same video again to continue from its previous position.
Audio and subtitles
Use the tracks control in the player to select embedded audio or subtitles, or attach a compatible external subtitle file.
Picture in Picture
Start playback and tap the Picture in Picture control, or leave the app while automatic PiP is enabled in your device settings.
Supported formats
nooPlayer supports common formats including MKV, MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM, TS, M2TS, FLV, VOB, WMV, SRT, ASS, SSA, and VTT.
Before contacting support
- Confirm the file has finished copying or downloading to your device.
- Try opening a different video to determine whether the issue is file-specific.
- For external files, verify that the Files provider is available and you still have permission to access the folder.
- Include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, and the video’s container format in your message.
